Our Launch Process

BEFORE YOU PAY: FREE CONSULT

We review your business plan, margins, supply chain, proposed structure, co-founder skill level, takeoff budget, and go-to-market strategy. If there are holes, we tell you what to fix before working with us (this advice comes at no cost). If you are cash rich time poor, you can engage us to assist you with launch preparation.

A great idea on a weak foundation is still a weak business.

Who This Is NOT For:

  • Tight budgets. Our service tiers start from $2,860 (incl. GST). If you cannot spend that without causing financial distress, we advise you to consider other options or save.

  • Drop-shippers, pyramid schemes, businesses in restricted industries, clothing brands that don't have at least $20,000 in capital, charities, trusts or companies outside of Australia.

  • Poorly planned ideas. We aren't interested in setting you up for failure. It impacts our reputation, and yours.

  • Zero accountability clients. We give you a head start off the blocks but you have to run the race. It's your company.

Who This IS For:

  • Perfectionists. Like us, you have a minuscule appetite for risk and value a watertight foundation.

  • Cash Rich Time Poor. You don't have the time to research and do it yourself but you can afford $2,860 to employ someone to do it for you.

  • Industry Experts: You are an expert in your field but this is your first time starting a company. You would prefer to leverage our knowledge as opposed to finding the landmines yourself.

  • Future Planners: You would prefer to spend a week or two now to avoid months of repairs in the future.

3 EASY STEPS.

HOW IT WORKS

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It starts with a free consult, by video call or in person if you're in Sydney. We review your business plan, margins, supply chain, proposed structure and go-to-market strategy. If there are holes, we tell you what to fix before you spend a cent with us. If we're a good fit, you pay 50% upfront and we get our hands dirty. Expect lots of questions, documents and approval requests until your company is set up. Then you pay the remaining 50% and you're ready to launch.

  • LAUNCH ($2,860) establishes your business: Director ID, ASIC registration, share and corporate registers, ABN and TFN, a draft constitution and shareholders agreement, banking and Xero setup, 6 custom SOPs and 6 months of support. SCALE ($5,720) adds your brand and digital infrastructure: logo and brand guidelines, .com.au domain, business email, social profiles, Google Business Profile, GST and business name registration, plus introductions to an accountant, bookkeeper and insurer. VENTURE ($8,580) adds a 3-5 page launch website, analytics, Meta and Google Ads setup, and a ClickUp workspace. All prices include GST.

  • No, and we'd rather be upfront about it. The $636 ASIC fee is a government charge, not ours. It's shown separately on every package and charged at the applicable government rate.

  • We meet you halfway: 50% upfront and 50% once we've finished setting up your company. If you can't afford that without stretching yourself, it's best to save a bit more before engaging us.

  • You can, and registering with ASIC is the easy part. As an ASIC registered agent we lodge it for you directly, but the real value is everything around it. The expensive mistakes show up later: no shareholders agreement when co-founders fall out, a structure your accountant has to unwind, or no systems once the work starts rolling in. An uncalculated risk isn't a strategy. It's gambling.

  • Most of the heavy lifting happens over a week or two. The biggest factor is you: the faster you answer our questions and approve documents, the faster you launch. A week or two now beats months of repairs later.

  • Every package includes 6 months of business support. You get 24/7 access to us on WhatsApp, and we answer every enquiry within 12 hours. You can also use the same chat to book a video call, or an in-person meeting if you're based in Sydney.

  • We offer business management services post-launch on a retainer. The price is based on your specific requirements and varies greatly from client to client. A small boutique videography agency that only needs bookkeeping will require minimal work compared with a statewide construction company.

  • Tight budgets: our packages start from $2,860. If spending that would cause you financial stress, save a bit more first. We also don't work with drop-shippers, pyramid schemes, adult entertainers, clothing brands with less than $20,000 in capital, charities, trusts or companies outside Australia. And if an idea is poorly planned, we'll tell you. Setting you up to fail hurts your reputation and ours.

  • Book a free consult and we'll tell you straight. If your plan has holes or we're not the right fit, we'll say so, and that advice costs you nothing.

  • By video call, or in person if you're in Sydney. Most clients prefer that we come to them, and we can also meet in the CBD at our co-working office, 39 Martin Place.

  • It's impossible to guarantee results, but we do greatly increase your chances of success. At the end of the day, once you launch, your business is your responsibility. To see what happens when clients actually put in the work post-launch and heed our advice, keep scrolling. 1. Diagnostic, Strategic Frameworks & Product Pivot (Phase 1 Audit)
MCMATH CONSTRUCTION PTY LTD (ABN: 24 692 269 284, ACN: 692 269 284) initially engaged NEHORA COLLECTIVE PTY LTD (ABN: 16 665 317 233, ACN: 665 317 233) with an unvalidated smart infrastructure hardware prototype intended for scaled manufacturing. Nehora conducted a Phase 1 Foundation Audit, evaluating the model through established economic and strategic frameworks:

  • Commercialisation & Capital Burn Evaluation: Moving the hardware prototype to market required an extended 12-to-18-month R&D cycle covering prototype fabrication, engineering compliance reviews, and statutory approvals. Conservative expenditure estimates indicated significant capital burn across research, development, factory tooling, freight logistics, and overheads prior to generating initial revenue.

  • Ansoff Matrix Strategic Mapping: Under the Ansoff Matrix framework, the founder was attempting a high-risk Diversification strategy: launching a new product into an unfamiliar manufacturing market. Nehora mapped a strategic pivot toward Market Penetration and core capability redeployment, directing the founder's existing trade skills into specialised concreting services to generate immediate operational cash flow.

  • Capital Cost & Dilution Theory: In corporate finance theory, seeking early-stage venture capital to cover 100% of takeoff costs without market validation forces a punitive cost of equity. Investors would demand controlling equity to offset downside risk. Debt financing was unviable due to a lack of trading history, while government grants required pre-existing proof-of-concept metrics and upfront preparation capital.

Plain English Example: Imagine wanting to build a complex smart device, but having zero dollars in the bank. If you ask an investor for $500,000 to build it from scratch without proving anyone wants it yet, they will demand most of your company for taking all the risk. Instead of giving away your business or taking on dangerous debt, you pause the device, use your existing trade tools to offer concreting services tomorrow, generate strong initial trading profits, and use your own revenue to fund the device later.

Strategic Capability Mapping
Nehora audited the founder's core assets: established trade credibility in the mining sector and direct relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction decision-makers. Nehora advised pausing the hardware R&D burn to launch a cash-generative entity providing specialised concreting labour hire and direct residential concreting, self-funding long-term product development without debt or dilution.

2. Equity Architecture & Corporate Governance (Phase 2)
To establish sound corporate governance under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), Nehora audited the proposed ownership structure ahead of entity registration:

  • Control & Voting Class Architecture: To prevent corporate deadlocks and preserve founder control over ordinary board decisions, Nehora provided a strategic framework where the chief executive held a minimum 51% controlling interest utilising Founder (FOU) class voting shares.

  • Phantom Equity Framework: Non-active contributors were transitioned away from direct equity issuance to avoid future share dispute risks. Nehora recommended a synthetic phantom equity scheme tied to contractual revenue milestones. This aligned financial incentives under contract law while avoiding complex share buybacks or capital reductions under Part 2J.1 of the Corporations Act 2001.

Plain English Example: FOU shares ensure the managing director holds voting majority on ordinary business decisions, so the company does not grind to a halt if founders disagree. Phantom equity acts like a contractual performance bonus. Instead of giving helpers actual shares in the company that are painful to take back if they stop working, you give them a contract that says: "If the business hits $500,000 in revenue, you receive a $20,000 cash bonus."

3. Regulatory Compliance, ANZSIC & Legislative Alignment (Phase 3)
Nehora assisted with administrative entity establishment, including ASIC company registration, ABN/TFN applications, GST registration under A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999, Director ID assistance, and statutory registry setups.

ANZSIC Classification Alignment
Under Western Australian Workers' Compensation and Injury Management legislation, general labour hire entities (ANZSIC Code 7212) were subject to an initial verbal workers compensation quote of 45.55% of total payroll from an insurer via the client's broker. This rate represented a severe barrier to operating margins.

Nehora worked alongside legal counsel to review the company's operational scope and service contracts. By narrowing the business's actual operational focus strictly to concreting works rather than general multi-trade labour hire, the entity's primary business activity legally qualified under Concreting Services (ANZSIC Code 3221). This alignment reduced the workers compensation premium rate from 45.55% down to 4.54% of payroll, saving over $100,000 in operational overheads during the trading period.

Plain English Example: If an insurer gives a verbal quote classifying your business as broad "labour hire" where workers do random high-risk jobs across multiple construction sites, they charge you $45.55 in insurance for every $100 you pay in wages. By narrowing your actual work strictly to concreting, your true risk category changes, dropping your insurance bill to $4.54 per $100 in wages.

Employment & Award Compliance
Workforce onboarding administrative frameworks were aligned with the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and the Building and Construction General On-site Award 2020, establishing compliant templates for penalty rates, superannuation guarantee contributions, and employee allowances.

4. Financial Engineering & Dual-Engine Strategy (Phase 4)
Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) Management
Commercial construction subcontractor accounts frequently face liquidity strain due to extended payment cycles in the industry. To protect working capital against cash flow bottlenecks, Nehora instituted fortnightly, hourly billing schedules for B2B commercial accounts, incorporating travel and meal allowances where applicable to keep payroll obligations cash-flow positive.

Plain English Example: Construction clients often take weeks to pay their bills, but your workers need their pay every week. If you pay wages for a month before receiving your first client payment, you run out of cash. By enforcing fortnightly hourly billing for your workers' time and travel, client payments arrive quickly enough to pay staff without needing overdrafts or bank loans.

Dual-Engine Revenue Strategy & Unit Economics
Nehora outlined a dual revenue architecture:

  • B2B Commercial Stream: Specialised concreting labour hire deployed across Tier 1 and Tier 2 commercial builders.

  • B2C Residential Stream: Direct-to-consumer driveways, paths, and patios.

Nehora deployed targeted digital funnels across Google Ads and Meta Business Suite. The unit economics yielded a Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) between $600 and $700 against a $5,500 Minimum Job Value at a 30% gross margin, with major residential contracts exceeding $15,000.

Plain English Example: For the residential business, spending around $650 on internet ads generated one driveway job. That job had a minimum value of $5,500, yielding $1,650 in gross margin (at 30%). After subtracting the $650 ad cost, the business kept $1,000 in clear margin per job before general overheads.

Systems & Back-Office Infrastructure
Nehora configured Xero with a custom chart of accounts, integrated Single Touch Payroll (STP Phase 2) via Employment Hero under the Taxation Administration Act 1953, and set up Taxable Payments Annual Reports (TPAR) tracking templates for subcontractor reporting. Operations were integrated into ClickUp, mapping task matrices across seven core operational divisions: Sales, IT, Marketing, Operations & Supply Chain, HR, Finance, and Customer Care.

5. Crisis Mitigation & Public Sector Tendering (Phase 5)
When a key commercial client account unexpectedly closed, Nehora executed a crisis recovery plan within 30 days:

  • Commercial Tendering Diversification: Utilising the Ansoff Matrix framework for Market Development, Nehora engaged a professional construction estimator to pivot the firm into formal public sector tendering.

  • Public Sector Contract Win: MCMATH CONSTRUCTION PTY LTD submitted a competitive tender and was awarded its first public sector infrastructure contract, successfully closing the revenue gap.

Plain English Example: When their main commercial client cancelled their account, instead of panicking, Nehora helped the company engage an expert estimator within 30 days to apply for government tenders. They won a public sector infrastructure contract, replacing the lost revenue.

6. Engagement Structure & Outcomes
MCMATH CONSTRUCTION PTY LTD onboarded via Nehora's VENTURE Package on a customised payment plan, transitioning into an ongoing executive advisory retainer.

For the trading period from 10 October 2025 to 10 September 2026, MCMATH CONSTRUCTION PTY LTD achieved:

  • Gross Trading Revenue: $685,956.68 AUD

  • First-Quarter Net Profit Margin (Before Tax): 17.96% (10 October 2025 to 9 January 2026), 2.96 percentage points above the 15% level that Australian industry guidance describes as an excellent margin for labour hire

  • Timeframe to Initial Profitability: 14 Days

Plain English Example: For every $100 McMath invoiced in its first three months, about $17.96 was left over after paying wages, materials, advertising and running costs, before tax. Many labour hire firms would be pleased to keep $15.
